Job Description:
As a Housing Worker, your main job is to help tenants keep their homes. You will provide personalized support and host workshops. Your role involves preventing and handling crises, offering counseling, resolving conflicts, and assisting with housing paperwork. You will be part of a team creating a friendly and supportive space, following feminist and housing first principles.

Educational Qualification:
For the House worker job candidates must have an undergraduate degree in a related field, specifically in community Work, or an equivalent qualification.
Age and Experience:
The Hous worker job for candidates has 3 to 5 years experience. The candidates aged 18-45 years old and above age candidates are not eligible for this job position.
Other Requirements:
The candidates possess strong communication skills and are diligent in their homework. They have a clean and commendable record with no criminal history. These individuals work at Canada House, having fulfilled all the necessary job criteria.
Job Responsibility:
In the Housework candidates perform some specific tasks which are the following:
- Support tenants in meeting tenancy obligations.
- Collaborate with the Intake Coordinator for intake and move-in orientation processes.
- Provide crisis prevention, intervention, and counseling, especially for those in affordable units.
- Model and coach conflict resolution and mediation skills.
- Assist tenants in problem-solving and connecting with community support.
- Respond to housing-related forms following YWCA procedures.
Salary and Benefits:
The candidates receive an annual salary of $55,939, which includes all yearly benefits. In addition, the company provides a comprehensive benefits package that covers living expenses, along with free food and drinks for the employees.
Duty Schedule:
The House worker in the job duty schedule is 35 hours per week, including evening and weekend shifts.
