Job Discription:
Join the Costa team as a Tractor Operator and General Farm Laborer! Your job is essential, operating and taking care of farm equipment, doing general tasks, and sometimes using boom spray units. They all train you well. Work hours are flexible, including weekends and nights, depending on the workload and weather.
Job Requirements:
To perform in this role, successful candidates should possess:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Experience with tractors and heavy machinery
- A forklift ticket is required; an MR truck license and bobcat/excavator experience is a plus
- Background in Agriculture or Horticulture is preferred, but not necessary
- Good communication skills are essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous
- Teamwork is crucial
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
- Basic computer and digital technology skills required
- Strong planning and time management abilities
- Punctual, reliable, and able to follow directions
